TRIBUTE AND FUND RAISING CONCERT
(HANNAH MARFO)
The Gospel Music ministers in Kumasi have started rallying their resources to honor the legend. They have organised a Tribute Concert in her honor.
Hannah Marfo, is one of Ghana's trailblazers in the gospel fraternity. She has made so many hits that have become house hold songs. Those who patronized gospel music in the 90's will know her very well.
She is the composer of these songs
1. Yensom Obiara 2. Akristofoo Adooso 3. Papa Muo Bone Muo 4. Medawase o me Nyankopon 5. Yesu Kokroko
She has appealed to the general public to help to pay for her teenage daughter's ¢43,000 surgery. Her daughter, 17 years of age, has been diagnosed with Scoliosis (abnormal curvature of the spine) which will inadvertently claim her life if not corrected as soon as possible.
Concerned music ministers all over the country have started rallying their resources and sending their widows might to the minstrel. But in order to have a wider reach, Gospel Music ministers in Asanteman have come together to organize a tribute and fund raising concert in her honor.
